Farm Accounts

As two of our members of staff trained within a specialist farming department at Ernst & Young, we have expert knowledge in all areas of farm accounts and taxation. As farming is a highly complex area and has its own reliefs, regulations, pitfalls and rewards a specialist is required to assist you in the compliance aspects of accounts and tax return preparation and also to advise you on various aspects of your business.

We currently have farming clients throughout the UK and have extensive knowledge of the farming climate in various regions.

Trust Taxation

If you are the Trustee of either a Discretionary Trust or a Life Interest Trust, we can prepare the accounts and tax returns on your behalf. We will advise you on the tax liabilities and prepare forms R185 for beneficiaries in respect of any distributions made.

Online Filing

We currently have the facility to file payroll and self assessment returns online along with file corporation tax and VAT returns. HM Revenue and Customs will require every employer to file online for PAYE returns in the next few years and it is likely that other taxes will follow suit. Online filing means that returns are instantly acknowledged as received and progress of your tax affairs can be monitored more easily without the need for long waits on the telephone.
